Annual Open House and Winter Pool Season

The Gladbrook Fitness and Wellness Center (GFWC) will kick things off with our Annual Open House at the Center on Sunday, February 20th from noon until 2:00. All members who need to renew or would like to extend their memberships, can do so at the Open House. Anyone who renews, extends or purchases a new membership during the Open House, will qualify for a prize drawing. We are giving away a new iPod as the prize. Even if your renewal period begins later in the year, you can renew now to be eligible for the free drawing of the iPod, and you will be extended for a year from your renewal month.
In addition, the swimming pool will be open to the public from 1:00 to 5:00 for a FREE swim. We will have volunteers available to also help review the Fitness Center equipment and its proper usage.
For this winter swimming season, the Pool will be open for open swimming from 3:30 to 6:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and again on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00. Based on interest, we also hope to offer adult swimming.
Pool parties are being booked now. We have reserved Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings for pool parties along with Saturday mornings. To get your date reserved, please contact Joan @ 641-750-7700 to schedule your party.
Current Fitness Center members will be able to swim for free during all open sessions. There will be a charge of $3 for each open session for non-members.
